4th of July Children's Parade

Join the fun at the FREE 4th of July Children’s Parade 2025 on Friday, July 4th!

This festive event is open to kids of all ages—come dressed in your best patriotic colors. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. with a flag ceremony hosted by the American Legion at the Y’s flagpole on Iris Street in Los Alamos.

Immediately following the ceremony, the parade will proceed down Central Avenue and end at Fuller Lodge’s grassy area, where families can enjoy a variety of fun post-parade activities.

Everyone is encouraged to decorate bikes, wagons, strollers, and even pets—the Y will have some decorations on hand to help! Don’t miss out on this spirited community celebration.
