Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has elevated fire restrictions to Stage 2 within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts.
Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District will be kicking off the Day of Arts & Culture by celebrating the newly completed mural by artist Andrew Fearnside with refreshments and a ribbon cutting. The Los Alamos Arts Council will host 50+ artisans for their annual fall craft fair. This event is free to the public and always a fun way to kick off the holiday shopping season.
