Join the Los Alamos Historical Society for a special evening event, Oppenheimer & The Next Generation, exploring the legacy of J. Robert Oppenheimer and its relevance in today’s world.

The evening will feature author Eric Singer, whose book Oppenheimer and the Atomic Bomb explores Oppenheimer’s legacy and what it means for today's world.

Special guests Susan and Alex Sherwin, the wife and son of the late Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Martin Sherwin, will also take part in the discussion.

In addition to the conversation, the evening will include Oppenheimer-themed trivia and a book signing with Eric Singer. Drinks will be available for purchase from Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op, and desserts will be provided by Blue Window Bistro.

This event is a unique opportunity to connect history with the present moment, offering insight, reflection, and community dialogue.
