Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has elevated fire restrictions to Stage 2 within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts.
Start the week off by playing outside! This program meets every Monday (except holidays) and provides an opportunity for toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers to come to the nature center and explore the natural world with PEEC's educator Izza. Each Playtime features a craft, story, and outside activity. Come and join the fun outside with other local parents! Free – no registration required.
Weather Policy: On Mondays when LAPS has a weather-related delay or cancellation, Nature Playtime is canceled.
