New Mexico SingleTrack Stage 1: Los Alamos

A three day mountain biking race, we are proud to be the host along with other locations in the area, Glorieta and Galisteo Basin.

Stage 1 kicks off in the heart of Los Alamos, starting and finishing near the Manhattan Project National Historical Park Visitor Center.

A uniquely iconic setting where history and high-desert riding intersect. From the first pedal stroke, riders will feel the energy of this landscape: volcanic mesas, deep canyons, and forested ridgelines shaped by millennia.

Free and open to the public, Chillville at Ashley Pond Park will offer:

• Food + beverage vendors
• Local artisans
• Expo area
• Live Music

• Family-friendly activities

Vending at the event

TransRockies and Los Alamos County are seeking all types of vendors for this event, especially those who can provide a variety of hot and cold drinks and breakfast items early in the morning, beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing throughout the day. Again, any vendor type is welcome: clothing, sport, craft, food, beverage, nonprofit, etc. The best part: participating as a vendor for this event is FREE. However, vendors are required to have registered their business with Los Alamos County and have the necessary insurance. • 7:15 - 8:15 a.m. — Last Minute packet pickup
• 9 a.m. — Enchantment Route Start (Long Course)
• 9:30 a.m. — Horizon Route Start (Short Course)
• 10 a.m. DK and the Affordables (Ashley Pond Concert Stage)
• 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Chillville Open (Ashley Pond Park) 
• 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Riders Cross the Finish Line
• 12 p.m. - Radio Blast (Ashley Pond Concert Stage)
• 2 p.m. — Awards Ceremony & Happy Hour in Chillville (Ashley Pond Concert Stage)
