Northern New Mexico Fair & Rodeo Queens Court Competition

Rodeo Court Competition:

Ladies from all over Northern New Mexico, ages 6 and up, are invited to participate in the Annual Northern New Mexico Fair and Rodeo Court Competition.

Each contestant will give a formal speech before a panel of judges and compete in a horsemanship contest, and compete in a written test:

• Horsemanship 20%
• Interview and Personality 20%
• Written Test 20%
• Public speaking 40%.

The competition will be held on May 16th, 2026, and begins at Brewer Arena for the riding portion and moves to Fuller Lodge for the speech and personality/interview section. Registration Deadline: May 13th, 2026 at 5:00pm

Categories:

• Jr. Sweetheart: 6 - 9 years old              
• Sweetheart: 10 - 13 years old
• Princess: 14 - 16 years old
• Queen: 17 - 25 years old

The event is scheduled to start at 9:00 am at Brewer Arena and will then move to Fuller Lodge at 2:00 pm.
