Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has elevated fire restrictions to Stage 2 within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts.
Join us in celebration of PEEC's 25th anniversary! This will be an easy walk to identify some of our local wildflower beauties. Local expert, Craig Martin, will scout the trails for the best places to see wildflowers the week before the walk and select a location based on what is blooming. Please meet at the Los Alamos Nature Center to check in and carpool to the trailhead.
