Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has elevated fire restrictions to Stage 2 within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts.

Meet for the Pumpkin Glow on October 24, 2026. Every year, thousands of people gaze in wide wonder at glowing visions of scary creatures, funny faces, cute animals, and fancy flowers. We encourage people of all ages and artistic talent to participate because anyone can carve a pumpkin!
Families can join us for the carving party in the morning, and everyone can join us on the lawn for the glow after dark!
