Queens of AtomiComedy

AtomiComedy, Los Alamos’ local comedy group, returns for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar Street.  “Queens of AtomiComedy” will feature performances exclusively by female comics from Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. Despite the exclusive gender of the performers, those of the male or any in-between persuasion are welcomed to the audience and will be sure to enjoy the evening, although they may want to use protection. Queens of AtomiComedy will be hosted by Isabel Madley, a well-known performer with Wayward Comedy, Santa Fe’s best (and only) comedy troupe. Madley is known for skewering relationships, psychoanalyzing pop culture, and spouting the usual liberal feminist claptrap, making her a perfect hostess for the evening. The show is hosted by Los Alamos Little Theatre. Bathtub Row Brewing Company will be selling libations in the lobby. The show will very much feature adult content, so you are advised to leave the kids at home. But nonetheless — come prepared to get your funny bone rocked!
