Senior Center FUNDrive

Help raise funds for the Friends of the Senior Centers in Los Alamos County by donating your gently used items.

Bring your gently used items:

• Books and media (no textbooks or encyclopedias)
• Clothes (clothes, coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, belts, backpacks, etc.)
• Household textiles (bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen, tablecloths, curtains, pillows, etc.)
• Small household goods
• Kitchen items (such as pots/pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, serving pieces and hand-held appliances)
• Home decorative items
• Knick-knacks
• Toys
• Games
• Small electronics

Please use bags for clothes and textiles. Tightly pack boxes of small household goods. Separate books from household goods and media.

How funds are raised: Donations are in part sold to SAVERS by the pound as part of their FUNDrive program. Some donations are also used directly by the Senior Centers, while others are used as partial prizes for Friends of the Senior Centers Bingo fundraisers.

• Friday, September 19 (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center, 1101 Bathtub Row, Los Alamos, NM
