Due to ongoing dry conditions and prevailing high winds, Fire Marshal Colorado Cordova of the Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) has elevated fire restrictions to Stage 2 within the boundaries of Los Alamos County to safeguard public health and safety, as well as protect lands, structures, natural and historical artifacts.
The Step Up gallery presents "The Quilt as Art" by the Northern NM Quilt Guild, Art Quilt and Surface Design Group. “The Quilt as Art," is an exhibit of art created with fabric. The show runs from May 8 through June 4.
The Opening Reception is on Sunday, May 11th, 2:00 - 3:30pm in the upstairs rotunda. A Gallery Talk by one of the artists will take place during the reception at 2:30pm.
