"Tuesdays" are back! Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District in conjunction with Live in Los Alamos is excited to bring Tuesdays @The Square back to Central Park Square Lawn for great free entertainment. After work, bring the family, a picnic blanket, and dinner; or grab food and a brew from one of the nearby restaurants and enjoy the evening together listening to local bands. The atmosphere is laid-back and a great way to relax mid-week in Los Alamos.  The music starts at 6 p.m..  

June 10: Ryan Finn's Island Jazz Band

Ryan Finn leads a jazz group that presents his original compositions, most of which are in Caribbean and Latin American styles. 

June 17: Felix y Los Gatos

Felix y Los Gatos is a national touring act with their roots planted firmly in the desert Southwest. With 20+ years of stage experience, the Gatos have an improvisational style that is uniquely their own. “Green Chile Gumbo” Blues, as the band refers to their sound, is a unique blend of Latin, Blues, Tejano, New Orleans Swing, “New Mexico Ranchera”, and rocking' outlaw country. 

July 1: Jacob Shije Trio

Hailing from the enchanting Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico, Jacob Shije stands as a multifaceted creative force, seamlessly weaving his talents as an Indigenous musician, artist, and photographer. With roots deeply embedded in his ancestral heritage, Jacob's work exudes a powerful sense of cultural resonance and creativity.

Melding the sounds of Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, and Roy Orbison, Jacob's music transcends genres, creating a unique auditory experience that bridges the past and the present. His melodies resonate with the heartbeat of his people, a testament to his unwavering connection to his roots. From soul-stirring ballads to foot-tapping rhythms, his music speaks a language of its own.

July 8: High Desert Rangers

The High Desert Rangers are New Mexico’s premier bluegrass band, made up of the top players in the state.
Killer three-part harmonies, top-level musicianship, and a great catalog of songs. This is live music at its zenith.  

July 15: Candace Vargas & Northern505

Candace Vargas is a twenty-two time award winner with the New Mexico Hispano Music Association. Candace Vargas is a two-time Grammy Award consideration as well as a 2019 Tejano Music Awards Nominee for Female Vocalist and Album Of the Year. She has been performing for over eighteen years and has had the honor of touring all over the Midwest and West Coast representing our New Mexico/Tejano music, culture, and traditions.

July 22: Heather and the Bad Breaks

 Locally beloved Swing, Jazz, and Blues band.

July 29 (rescheduled from June 24 due to rain): Quemazon Combo

Quemazon Combo of the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association! Playing Jazzy tunes and funky music-- bring your dancing shoes for this one!

Location

This year from 6-8 pm, Tuesdays will be activating the Central Park Square lawn next to Boese Bros with six Tuesday evenings of live music, spanning rock, jazz, blues, and more.
