Join members of the PEEC Nature Youth Group (PNYG) as they update the community on their work on the PumaGuard system. PumaGuard has been designed to use AI to detect pumas in sensitive areas, and to deploy a deterrent such as light or sound to harmlessly scare them away. PumaGuard is currently being field tested in collaboration with researchers from UC Davis in California.
