Celebrate the season with a festive, family-friendly craft day! We’ll provide plenty of supplies and inspiration for making New Mexico themed ornaments and eco-friendly crafts.

Most ornaments will be donated to decorate Los Alamos County’s 2025 Holiday Tree, but don’t worry, there will be materials set aside so you can also make a few creations to take home. All ages are welcome to join in the fun!

Why we’re crafting: Los Alamos County is inviting the community to help decorate the 2025 Holiday Tree with 500 handmade, New Mexico themed ornaments. By using at least 50% recycled or repurposed materials, these creations will spark creativity, highlight the importance of reuse, and showcase our community’s commitment to sustainability during the holiday season.
