Discover Los Alamos is pleased to announce two training sessions for Fall 2026. The first will take place on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the White Rock Visitor Center. The second will be held on Thursday, November 12 from 2-4 p.m. in the Century Bank conference room. Training is free and open to the public.

The Ambassador Program teaches customer-service and communication skills to tourism professionals, educators, retailers, and anyone who works with visitors. The training is ideal for those interested in learning more about the community and practicing ways to share local knowledge. During a two-hour in-person class, participants learn techniques to become more effective representatives of Los Alamos and the surrounding area. Upon completion of the program, Ambassadors receive a certificate, a lapel pin, and a Community Cash eGift Card to use at local businesses.

Started in 2022, the Los Alamos Ambassador Program was designed to create a community of helpers. Since its inception, the program has trained nearly 300 Ambassadors. Join this engaging group today! More information can be found at https://losalamosdevelopment.com/ambassador-program.

To register for a training, please contact Jennifer Armstrong, Los Alamos Ambassador Program Manager, at ambassador@losalamos.org.
