The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is counting down to the Backcountry Film Festival (BCFF) on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 7 to 10 p.m. As the only screening in New Mexico, this annual event brings together outdoor enthusiasts, winter adventurers, and community supporters for an evening of films, prizes, and celebration. Doors open at p.m. at SALA Los Alamos Event Center (2551 Central Ave). Tickets are $16, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy drinks from Pajarito Brewpub & Grill, purchase raffle tickets, and connect with fellow winter‑loving community members.

The Backcountry Film Festival raffle has become a beloved tradition, and this year’s prize lineup is one of the strongest yet.
