2025 Santa Fly-in

Santa is flying into town on Saturday, December 20! Join us for a free, family-friendly holiday event brought to you by Los Alamos County and the Experimental Aircraft Association Green Chile Chapter (EAA 691), featuring Santa’s arrival by airplane, crafts, snacks, and festive activities.

Event Schedule:

2:00 PM – Terminal Opens:

Crafts, snacks, and holiday music available

~2:30 PM – Santa Arrives by Airplane:

Families gather in the designated viewing area to watch Santa land. Santa will be escorted into the terminal to greet children.

2:40–4:00 PM – Photos & Activities:

Meet-and-greet with Santa and photo opportunities. Crafts and snacks continue. Static aircraft displays available for viewing (weather and availability permitting)

Activities & Attractions

Craft stations for kids (all supplies provided)
Seasonal snacks and beverages
Festive decorations, music, and a Santa photo backdrop
Ramp aircraft display hosted by local pilots and airport tenants

Safety reminder: Please follow volunteer guidance, stay within marked areas, and avoid touching aircraft unless invited by pilots. Strollers welcome; pets discouraged for safety and noise considerations
