Electric Vehicle Show

PEEC is celebrating Los Alamos ScienceFest this year at our annual Electric Vehicle Show! Stop by to see a variety of electric-powered transportation and explore your electric vehicle options!

Vehicles will be in the municipal parking lot, off Central, between the demo garden and the Justice Center, NW of Ashley Pond. We’ll have a wide array of electric-powered vehicles and bikes on display. Speak with owners about their EV experiences and see the different features and styles. Plus, discover where Los Alamos gets its electricity and how electric vehicle carbon footprints compare to gas-powered vehicles.

Other activities!

Solar Car Races at 10 am and 12 pm! Pick up a solar car kit from the nature center during open hours July 8 - 12 OR come pick up your kit and build it with us at the EV Show. All kits come with instructions. You are free to customize your car however you'd like! Solar Car Race winners will receive prizes! If you had a car from last year’s ScienceFest, you are also welcome to enter that.
