YIMBY Film Festival

Join us for a joyful, family-friendly celebration—complete with exciting prize giveaways! Together, we'll celebrate the natural world and the community-driven projects making Los Alamos an even better place to live, play, and explore. The Yes! In My Backyard (YIMBY) Film Festival is a 90-minute event featuring a fun mix of lighthearted and adventurous bike-themed short films. Imagine dogs, kids going big, and Danny MacAskill's extreme biking skills with a tow-behind trailer!

Special highlights include a short by local filmmaker Kyle Dickman, which premiered at this year’s Banff Mountain Film Festival, on efforts to save the last of the giant sequoias.

From Iceland to the Amazon, the festival will also feature breathtaking nature films that showcase the wonders of our world. You'll also enjoy local shorts about Pajarito, along with heartwarming stories that celebrate outdoor adventures bringing families closer together.

All proceeds will benefit the Tuff Tykes Bike Club, helping young riders discover the joy of biking and the great outdoors.
