County Merges Websites for Centralized Community Calendar

To enhance community engagement and streamline event planning, Los Alamos County will be merging two event calendars in the community. This merger initiative with Discover Los Alamos’ FYILosAlamos.com and the County’s VisitLosAlamos.org/events will provide residents and visitors with a centralized source for discovering upcoming events, making it easier to stay informed about what’s happening. 

By merging these resources, Los Alamos County aims to improve accessibility to local happenings, including cultural events, outdoor activities, and community gatherings. The unified calendar will serve as a hub, eliminating the need to check multiple sources for information. 

“We are happy to offer a single calendar that connects our community more effectively,” said Ellyn Felton, Marketing Specialist at Los Alamos County. “This integration ensures residents and visitors have easy access to a wide range of events, strengthening participation and engagement across Los Alamos County.” 

The combined calendar is live and accessible at visitlosalamos.org/events. Event organizers are encouraged to submit their upcoming activities to help keep the community informed.
